A purging plug is used to blow argon into the melt steel in the ladle to help the inclusions rising up to the surface of the melt steel to be absorbed by the slag. The stability of the pore or the slit in the purging plug is helpful to let the argon go through of it smoothly. And the body material is of high cleaning ressistance against the oxygen.With the know-how of the manufacturing process the purging plug is of long service life.
